Welcome to Prof. Anglesey's Multimedia Writing website

This course introduces students to the craft of writing across a multitude of electronic mediums. By exploring how the delivery format of writing fundamentally affects the text’s voice and meaning, students learn to craft—and revise—prose to fit a diversity of mediated environments. Writing exercises and assignments include website prose and blogs, writing and editing voiceover, creating podcasts and video scripts, and developing interactive narratives for games and videos. Students also engage meaningfully with the ethical considerations of drawing upon AI-based writing programs in one’s work.
