About Me.

My name is Leslie Anglesey (she/her/hers). As a neurodiverse professor, my interests are many and varied. I love hiking and being out of doors. In 2026 alone, I've visited six new (to me) National Parks and hope to return to one of the California parks before the end of the year. I also love knitting and crochet, playing games (card, board, video, etc.), going to concerts, and watercoloring. My scholarly interests include writing, especially health communication and the teaching of writing. I'm interested in multimedia writing because of its potential to communicate with many communities and audiences that we may never be able to interact with IRL. Blending my scholarly interests and multimedia writing has led me to research how women share women's health information in social media spaces.
